Ancestors
Ancestors are more than our closest ancestors...
Cantabria is a magical and wonderful land where human beings have lived for many thousands of years.
These, our ancestors since the beginning of time, have left us a wonderful legacy of art that has survived, over the millennia, within our rock art caves.
Ancestros is an exhibition proposal conceived and produced jointly between Centro de Edición and SM Pro Art with the support of the Department of Culture of the Suances City Council.
In Ancestros 20 artists have created 40 works to continue the tradition that links art with our ancestors, here in Cantabria.
Forty unpublished graphic works will see the light in our land as a tribute to our origins, to our Ancestors, through our common language, art.
