The luxury cruise Harmony of the Seas, belonging to the Royal Caribbean company, has incorporated original artworks from numerous artists of the world through a selection made by the curator responsible for advising the company's artistic spaces.
All these artworks are exhibited in different locations of the ship since its inaugural trip.
Among them have been selected 8 artworks by Andrea Juan belonging to different series of her Antarctic Project, these have been:
New Species 4862, Red 14, Organic 7753, Organic 270, Invisible Forest II, New Species IV, Solar Storm 1121 and Girasoles IV.
The particularity of the commission has been that, each artwork, should be accompanied by a design, made by the artist herself, to be printed, in large dimensions, on the wall on which the artwork would be exposed.
In this way each artwork has been transformed into two superimposed and unique artworks ... one its background and the other the artwork itself printed in its original dimensions.
